The Bhaktivedanta Research Centre, Kolkata, invites applications from interested candidates for the appointment to the following post, initially for one year.
1. Project Fellow
A. Responsibilities: Translation, Editing, Proof-reading, Archive and Library work. Maintaining office and correspondences etc.
B. Minimum Eligibility Criteria:
- M.A. with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in Humanities or Social Sciences discipline with uniformly good academic record.
- Proficiency in both Bangla and English languages
- Basic computer skills
C. Desirable: Knowledge of Vaishnava literature, culture and philosophy; Experience of translation, conducting archival work and field-surveys.
D. Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- Per Month (consolidated). No other allowance is permitted.
Date and Time of Submission of Application:
Eligible and interested candidates are requested to send their detailed Curriculum Vitae along with a covering letter by email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “Application for Project Fellow” on or before 20th October, 2019. However, a candidate must submit two copies of covering letter bearing his/her signature, along with self-attested copies of all the relevant documents and two recent passport size photographs at the reporting time on the day of interview at the venue mentioned below; failing which the candidature will be summarily rejected. Intimation with call for interview after primary screening of applications will be sent via email. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview.
